Grief. This was definitely grief. Something that he himself was all too familiar with. At least with himself he knew how deal with his own grief. It seemed like Leanne had yet to do that. At least not in a way where she wasn't berating herself.
He pulled a handkerchief out and lightly dabbed it at her eyes so as to wipe away the tears.

"And I think it is up to me to decide if you are worth worrying about or not." And he had to admit, he was fond of her and not because she was fun to tease. "As for how long ago it was... That doesn't matter. Especially if it's affecting you so right now."
